Since 2015, New Leaf and our sister provision, Forest Lodge, have established an enviable reputation for providing bespoke placements for students unable to thrive in mainstream schools or colleges.
We understand that not all learners can cope in a large environment as their sensory systems can get too overwhelmed. This can particularly impact those with anxiety or high functioning autism. But why should those willing and wanting to learn be unable to do so? Our site in Needwood provides a "college" feel but in a smaller, nurturing setting with no more than eight students on site at any one time. Small. Nurturing. Calm.
